When you post a link, you start with 55 taps.
Each tap is like a "life". More taps = higher in the ranking.
When you reach 0 taps, your link disappears. Game over.

Post your link

Type any URL: your website, your blog, your TikTok, your Instagram, your YouTube video, your online store... anything you want to promote.

Your link goes to a quick moderation queue (a human checks it's not spam or illegal). Once approved, it appears on top of the ranking with 55 taps.

Important: You can only post one link per hour. And you cannot post a duplicate link if it's already in the top 100. Wait until it disappears to post it again.

Example: You post https://mycooltiktok.com/myvideo → after a few minutes it shows at position #1 with 55 taps. Everyone sees it.

Other users give you "high-fives"

When another user clicks "HIGH FIVE" on your link, two things happen:

1. Your link loses 1 tap (goes from 55 to 54, then 53...)
2. The user who clicked gets to visit your link in a new tab (free traffic for you!)

Example: You're at 55 taps. A user in Brazil clicks HIGH FIVE on your link. Now you have 54 taps, but you got 1 real visitor to your site. Win-win!

Each high-five you receive makes you sink down the ranking. Other users climb above you.

Give high-fives to EARN taps back

Click "HIGH FIVE" on other users' links to sink them and visit their site. But here's the key:

Every 10 high-fives you give = +1 tap on your latest link. This is how you climb back up the ranking!

There's a 1-minute cooldown between each tap you earn. So you can't spam clicks to get infinite taps. Pace yourself.

Example: Your link dropped to 40 taps. You give 10 high-fives to other links. You earn +1 tap → now you have 41 taps. Give 10 more → 42 taps. Keep going!

⚠️ Important: You must stay on the destination page for at least 5 seconds after clicking. If you open and close instantly, the click won't count. You'll see a countdown timer on the button (⏳ 5s... 4s... 3s...).

Reach 0 taps = your link disappears

If your link loses all its taps and reaches 0, it's removed from the site completely. You can't recover it.

Don't worry: you can post a new link (after the 1-hour cooldown) and start fresh with 55 taps.

Example: Your link went from 55 → 40 → 20 → 5 → 0. It's gone. Wait 1 hour (or less if time already passed), post a new link, start again.

Links outside the top 100 are auto-removed

The ranking only shows the top 100 links. If your link falls below position 100 (because other links have more taps), it gets automatically removed from the system.

This keeps the game fresh and gives everyone a fair chance. You can always repost your link later.

Do I have to pay anything?

Do I have to sign up?
No. We give you a random cookie ID so we remember you between visits. That's it. No email, no password, no personal data.
How do I earn taps back?
Give high-fives to other people's links. Every 10 high-fives you give = +1 tap on your latest link. There's a 1-minute cooldown between each tap you earn. You must also stay at least 5 seconds on each page you visit.
Why do I have to stay 5 seconds on each link?
To prevent abuse. If users could open and close links instantly, they'd farm taps without actually visiting anyone's site. The 5-second rule ensures real traffic for everyone.
What happens if I post a duplicate link?
You'll get an error message: "This link is already in the ranking." You must wait until that link disappears (either reaches 0 taps or falls out of the top 100) before posting it again.
How much traffic will I get?
It depends. Each tap you have = 1 visit to your link. Start with 55, earn more by giving high-fives. Some users get 100+ visits per day. Some get less. It's up to how active you are and how attractive your link is.
Why can't I high-five the same link twice?
To prevent spam and abuse. There's a 15-minute cooldown between high-fives to the same link. You can high-five as many different links as you want (1 minute between clicks).
Why can't I use an ad blocker?
Take5 is free because of ads. Without ads, we can't pay for servers and we have to close. It's that simple. Please disable your blocker for this site. Thank you.
